Turkish-based Ghanaian attacker Kevin-Prince Boateng has admitted players will find it difficult playing without fans in the stand.

The Turkish top-flight is set to return on June 12 under strict conditions, one of which is no fans.

Fans are not allowed into the stadium because of the coronavirus which has claimed many lives since it made its way to Europe in March from China.

Before the break, some players were played behind closed doors including the Instabul derby between Besiktas and Galatasaray.

Boateng, who featured for Besiktas in that match said after that it was a different derby without the fans.

He believes the situation wouldn't be any different when the league restarts without fans in the stadium.

"It is not possible to get used to football without fans. We played against Galatasaray without an audience. It was not something I wouldn't like to live again. But we have to overcome this situation," Boateng said.

Boateng moved to Turkey in January on loan from Fiorentina.
