Ivory Coast coach releases 20-man squad to face Ghana in CHAN qualifier

Ivory Coast coach Michel Dussuyer has selected a strong 20-man squad to face Ghana on Sunday in the 2016 CHAN final qualifying round first leg tie in Kumasi.

The Frenchman’s troops is dominated by five players from ASEC Mimosas who finished runners-up in the Ivorian Ligue 1.

Champions AS Tanda contributed three players including danger man Koffi Devy Boua.

The local Elephants prepared for the qualifier with a 1-1 draw with Cameroon in Abidjan last week.

The winner of the Ghana-Ivory Coast encounter will represent Zone West B at the 2016 African Nations Championship finals in Rwanda next year.

Midfielders: Adama Essis Aka (Sewe Sport), Inza Diabate (AS Tanda), Elysee Cedric Kodjo (Sewe Sport), Yao Serge Nguessan (AFAD), Ibrahim Sangare (AS Denguele).
