Crystal Palace star Jeffrey Schlupp believes there is still the opportunity of qualifying for Europe should the English Premier League continue.

The Premier League has been suspended until at least April 30 following the outbreak of the coronavirus.

Crystal Palace are just four points adrift of seventh place Sheffield United, and have a good chance of making it to Europe if the season continues.

"Obviously with us (Crystal Palace), I don't want to get ahead of us, there is still that opportunity for us. You know something special might be able to happen to us," he told Alex Howell on his 'Staying in With' show.

"I think given those reasons, there should be every reason why we should be able to continue the season," he added.

The 27-year old is just recovering from an injury that has kept him out since December.

Schlupp has already made 14 Premier League appearances this season, scoring two times for the Eagles.
