John Boye: Former Ghana defender's contract terminated by Saudi club Al Fayha

Former Ghana international John Boye is reportedly now a free agent after his contract was terminated by Saudi club Al Fayha. 

Boye joined the club in August 2021 from the French side Metz.

But it hasn't gone as planned for Boye who has been deemed surplus to requirement by the club's technical handlers.

The 34-year-old has struggled for playing with just five appearances in all competitions this season.

Boye previously played for Stade Rennes, Sivasspor, and defunct Turkish second-tier side Kayseri Erciyesspor.

He has capped 68 times for Ghana with five goals to his credit but last played for the Black Stars in 2019.

Boye, 34, could return to Europe where some clubs where he reportedly has suitors.
