The late mother of former Black Stars defender John Paintsil will be buried next month, per the funeral arrangements announced by the family.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Community 9 cemetery in Tema.

Madam Juliana Adiaba Paintsil died in April has died after a short illness. The sad incident happened at the Nyaho Clinic here in Accra on Tuesday.

“Sweet mother it was heartbreaking to see you leaving me yesterday. My heart was broken and it’s still hurt Mum. you did so well to set a good standard for all of us.Mother, I say Ayikooo nammie. Go well mother... we love you ahhh. RIP Mummy”, John Paintsil announced in a post.

John Paintsil made 89 appearances for the national team between 2001- 2013.

Members of the football fraternity are expected in their numbers to support Painstil give her mum a befitting send-off.
