Former Ghana U-20 forward Jonah Osabutey has been voted player of the season by fans of Belgium Jupiler Pro League side Royal Excel Mouscron.
The former Tema Youth player pulled 50.8% of votes to beat Deni Hoko and Jean Butez to the award.
The player on loan from German Bundesliga side Werder Bremen has been in fine form for Royal Excel as they placed tenth before the season was cancelled.
Osabutey scored five goals and created four four as the newcomers finished at a respectable position.
His loan stint with the Belgium club ends next month and he is expected to return to Werder Bremen, who are struggling in the Bundesliga.
It is yet to be known if he will extend his stay in Belgium but his current form might force the German outfit to keep the striker.
The 21-year old joined Werder Bremen from Ghanaian club Tema Youth in the 2016/17 season.
