Kotoko to receive Bejaia on Wednesday

JSM Bejaia will arrive in Ghana on Wednesday for their CAF Champions League return leg match against Asante Kotoko.

The Algerian club are coming along with a 32-member contingent which will be headed by Algerian FA member Khabouz Abdelhak and Bejaia director general Redjradj Racid.

The team will make a brief stop in Casablanca before connecting to their flight to the Kotoko International Airport.

Kotoko have however assured of no retaliatory action against Bejaia following the harsh treatment meted the Ghanaian champions in the first leg match in Algeria almost three weeks ago.

“As expected, they (JSM Bejaia) will be met on arrival by Kotoko officials,” Public and Supporters Relations Manager, Listowell Yesu Bukarson told MTNFootball.com.

“We intend giving them all desired courtesies in tandem with the CAF regulations.”

Kotoko hold the advantage going into the second leg game at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors secured a goalless draw in that game in Algeria and are expected to finish off the job when they host Bejaia in Kumasi.
