Reports reaching Ghanasoccernet.com indicate that two Kotoko fans have been arrested for orchestrating and attacking a sports journalist during the club's clash with Dreams FC in the week 23 of the Ghana Premier League.

The two, whose names were given as Seidu and Twum are currently at the Asokwa Police Station in Kumasi for allegedly attacking and beating a Jem FM Sports Journalist during the said game.

Further checks by Ghanasoccernet.com have revealed that a Kumasi-based Sports Journalist who was fingered by the victim for engineering the attack was also arrested but has been released by the police a few minutes ago.

The said journalist has been asked to be reporting to the police station every morning until investigations are over.

Seidu and Twum who were caught on camera attacking the journalist are however still under police custody.

Insiders say some high ranking Kotoko officials are currently at the Asokwa Police Station pleading with the police to release the two.

The Jem FM Sports Journalist, Gomez, was attacked and molested by some Kotoko fans, led by the the two for insisting that the penalty awarded them in the game wasn't a penalty while running commentary.
