Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has set a two-week timeline to fully recover and return to action for AC Milan.
The 24-year-old sat out of Saturday's 3-0 triumph over Palermo at the San Siro because of suspension and injury.
The former Portsmouth star picked up nock in Milan's 2-0 loss at Juventus and was also sent off for a second bookable offence.
Boateng, who held talks with Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi last Wednesday on his return to international football, believes he will gain full fitness in a fortnight.
"I hope to be back playing in 2 weeks. I will see doctor tomorrow and will tell you more," he said.
The German-born enforcer also said he is waiting to receive a call-up to play for the Black Stars.
"I play for Ghana when I'm asked to," he concluded.
