Kevin-Prince Boateng's AC Monza's Serie B clash against Vicenza Calcio has been canceled amid coronavirus case hike.

The second division club has been hit with several coronavirus positive cases, forcing authorities to defer Saturday's match.

At least seven players of AC Monza have tested positive with Italy's Under-21 contributing to the serious bloodletting of personnel.

Two players of the U21 team are still under quarantine until October 17, after several cases were reported to the team.

However, Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng, who joined the second-tier side this summer, has tested negative for Covid-19.
