Ghana forward Kevin Prince Boateng is confident Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac will turn the tides around following a poor start to his career at the Bavaria.

Bayern Munich are seven points behind leaders Burrossia Dortmund after 11 games in the Bundesliga, their worse start in three seasons.

But Boateng, who played under Niko Kovac last season believes the ex-Frankfurt manager will come good as the season progresses.

"Just as the team is hovering and flying, it is hard for any team to beat them," Kevin Prince Boateng told the Bild.

"Bayern will attack hard again, either now or at the latest after the winter break. Niko will pack that, I trust him 100 percent, " added the Sassuolo star.

"I do not see it as bad as everyone says. It is nice that it is exciting again in Germany, because it is not running at Bayern. That should be seen positively. "

The 31 year old is having a good season with Sassuolo, where he has bagged in five goals in 11 for the Nerovredis.
