King Faisal Babes adopt Techiman's Nana Ameyaw park as new home venue

King Faisal Babes have adopted the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman as their home venue for their league matches following the temporal closure of the Babayara sports stadium.

The Nana Ameyaw park is the home venue for premier league outfit Eleven Wonders FC.

The Kumasi based stadium has been closed for renovations ahead of the commemoration of Ghana’s 63rd Independent Anniversary.

The Independence Day event is set to be hosted at the facility on 6 March 2020.

This has forced the two Kumasi based premiership sides Asante Kotoko SC and King Faisal to find alternative venues as their home.

King Faisal decision to host their games at Jumsco Park in Assin Fosu was rejected by the Club Licensing Board who deemed the park as unsuitable for top-flight matches.

The Gold and Whites then opted for the Len Clay stadium in Obuasi but have decided otherwise after just one game.

King Faisal have now settled on the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman for the rest of their home games pending approval by the Ghana Football Association Club Licensing Board.

King Faisal will play their next league fixture against Medeama SC in the Techiman if the park is approved.
