Kingston wants Ghana to win 2012 AFCON

Ghana international Laryea Kingston is backing the current Black Stars squad to win the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

The Israel-based midfielder wants side to build to cap their recent surge on the continent with silverware that will end a 20-year drought.

"At the last Afcon we did very well. We shouldn't take anything less than being in the final again," Kingston told Goal.com.

"We're going to win the cup."

The Hapoel Beer Sheva player wants to see Goran Stevanovic show their intent by dispatching Swaziland in Friday's penultimate Nations Cup qualifier.

"Every game is important, but if you compare Swaziland and Ghana and the advantage that we're playing from home it's going to be an easy game."
