Klopp: Nothing stopping Liverpool from buying Borussia Dortmund players

Published on: 29 November 2015

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says there's nothing preventing him from signing his old Borussia Dortmund players.

Klopp confirmed that he is allowed to sign players from Dortmund if he wanted. Marco Reus, Matts Hummels and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are among their star assets.

"I heard about an agreement (about not signing Dortmund players), but no. Yet in my opinion it only makes sense to go for players we think we can get.

"Maybe you take one. No surprise. But, I have a good relationship still with Borussia Dortmund and with all the players.

"There is nothing between us and if there was a possibility that we could get one of those players and we needed him, then we could try it.

"There is no agreement, of course not. And there is no agreement that we can't sell players to Borussia Dortmund!"
