Stephen Oduro, right, scored for Kotoko against Asokwa Deportivo

Veteran midfielder Stephen Oduro got on target for Asante Kotoko in their 2-0 comfortable pre-season win over second-tier side Asokwa Deportivo on Wednesday afternoon.

The artful 31-year-old Porcupine legend intelligently outwitted his marker before gauging and sending home a sumptuous effort from 16 yards out to send Kotoko ahead at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Oduro's opener cut open Deportivo and impressive Ghana U20 defender Emmanuel Asante who joined Kotoko from Bechem United registered his name on the score-sheet with his first strike goal for Kotoko.

Didi Dramani's men have been upping their preparations for the upcoming season and will take on Togolese champions Anges FC at the Baba Yara Stadium on October 12.
