Asante Kotoko coach Mas-ud Draman has asked for patience as he bids to return the club to winning ways in the top flight.

The Porcupine Warriors have flattened to deceive in the opening three matches of the season where they are yet to record a win.

Three successive draws has left the defending champions 11th on the table and desperately in search of victory to put their campaign back on track.

Their fans have been unhappy with the level of performance from the players but the new man in charge is urging calm as he attempts to restore confidence in his charges.

“It is understandable that the supporters are disappointed with the way things are going but they have to remain patience,” Draman said

“There is pressure on them to deliver due to their displays last season. We’re working on their mental toughness so they will be able to deal with what comes with playing for a great club like Kotoko.

“It’s early days yet and I believe we’ll start picking the points. We just have to believe and support the players.”

“Kotoko will next travel to the Gyemfi’s park to face Aduana Stars on Wednesday.
