Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has joined English side Sunderland on a two week coaching programme, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Konadu will learn from Sunderland manager Martin O'Neil during the period and join the Black Cats technical bench for game.

This is part of the benefits the former African champions are enjoying as a result of their partnership agreement with the Wearside club.

Assistant coach Sarfo Castro has taken over the training and preparation of the team for the second half of the Ghana Premier League.
