Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum acknowledges challenging assignment against Bechem United

Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is bracing for a formidable challenge as his team prepares to take on Bechem United in the seventh week of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors will be welcoming the Hunters to the Baba Yara Stadium in what promises to be a compelling match on matchday seven of the domestic top-flight league.

Despite remaining unbeaten in their last three games of the competition, Ogum believes a clash against Bechem United is always unpredictable and his side needs to be tactically sound to get a good result.

“We all know Bechem is a solid and very physical side, which is typical of them. They have a very die-hard spirit where they want to stretch the game to the end and matches between these two sides have always been very exciting and very unpredictable and very uncompromising”

"To me, we have to be very aggressive, very committed, very determined and make sure that we make it simple on the day. I always tell them that beautiful things are simple and simple things are beautiful, we just have to make sure that we create the spaces and use the spaces and connect to the right players in position to score at the right time” he said.

In the league standings, Asante Kotoko currently hold the seventh position with nine points, whereas Bechem United occupies the 12th spot with seven points after completing six games.
