Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has expressed excitement over the challenge for this year’s Premier League title.

Kotoko currently leads the Premier League log on superior goal difference after being tied on eighteen points with Berekum Chelsea and Hearts of Oak.

However Ebusua Dwarfs, All Stars and New Edubiase who are in the 4th, 5th and 6th position respectively are also with a chance of toppling the leaders by the time match day 10 comes to a close.

And this competition and uncertainty of who would emerge leaders of the league after a round of matches Konadu says will ensure the continued excitement and suspense in the league.

“This season in my opinion is the best ever,” he said.

“All the teams are well prepared which has manifested in the league standings.

“The tightness of the competition means if you lose you know you might be dropping way down the league and I am sure all the teams would like to avoid this.

“This competition has generated a lot of interest and excitement in the league which will put us as coaches on our toes throughout the season.”
