Kotoko deputy coach Godwin Ablordey cautions against complacency ahead of Hearts clash

Deputy coach of Asante Kotoko Godwin Ablordey has warned his side against complacency when they square off against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in week 8 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors are the only team in the division that are yet to taste defeat after match day seven, and occupy second spot on the log with 17 points.

But the club’s assistant trainer has sounded note of warning to his charges ahead of their much talked about Super Clash on Sunday.

“For me, we won our last game and Hearts of Oak lost but, per the experience I have, I’ll tell the players that they shouldn’t be swollen headed."

“Hearts of Oak will come into the game aggressively to get the maximum three points at their home grounds. I’ll tell the players to relax and play their normal game."

“We shouldn’t be swollen headed that they lost so we are going to walk over them but rather, we need to remain positive,” he said.
