Asante Kotoko striker Ransford Osei has turned his sights on FA Cup success following the side’s retention of the Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors will face Medeama on July 14 in the grand finale of this season’s MTN FA Cup competition at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kotoko will be looking to finish the season with a double after their successful defence of their Premier League title.

Medeama on the other hand are looking to redeem themselves from the massive disappointment of their failure to win the Ghanaian top flight.

But striker Ransford Osei believes Kotoko remains on track to finish off their campaign well which will see the side achieve all of their pre-season targets except for their poor showing in the CAF Champions League.

“Our target was to win the league, the FA Cup and the Champions League,” he said.

“But we didn’t make it in the Champions League and so the next ladder was to win the league which we have now achieved.

“So the next target now is to win the FA Cup and I believe with the commitment and determination we have, we will win it.”
