Kwadwo Asamoah failed to make Juventus' squad

Unregistered Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah did not travel with the Juventus’s squad t on Monday for Spain to take on Seville in the UEFA Champions League.

Asamoah featured for Juventus in their 2-0 win at Lazio on Friday in Serie-A and there were thoughts he could be added to their travelling party.

The Ghana international was returning from yet another injury setback as he is still feeling his way back to full fitness from a long injury layoff.

But manager Massimilano Allegri left Asamoah out of his 19-man squad for Tuesday’s Champions League clash at Seville.

Asamoah lasted 69 minutes in the 2-0 win over Lazio last Friday to some extent prove his fitness.

Juventus top Group D going into the final round of matches on Tuesday at Seville where even a defeat could see them through as they’ve already qualified to the next round.
