Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah will be delighted to work under Giuseppe Marotta again as the 61-year-old closes in on a switch to Inter Milan.
Marotta operated as Juventus’ CEO for the past eight years and oversaw the club’s record run of seven successive Serie A titles.
However, the shrewd football administrator decided to leave Turin in October and has been heavily linked with a surprise move to the Nerazzurri.
Speaking to reporters of Sky Italia, Asamoah took the opportunity to welcome his former boss, who just like the Ghanaian joined the Nerazzurri from Juventus.
"It's a pleasure to work with him, he's a manager with whom I worked for six years. It's a great pleasure for me because he has a great personality," he concluded.
Asamoah has become a mainstay for Luciano Spalletti's side since joining in the summer, making 14 appearances in all competitions.
