AC Milan midfielder Kelvin Prince Boateng will return to the Black Stars, an insider has revealed.
Boateng cited physical demands of playing for both club and country at high levels in his decision to quit the national team.
But the Black Stars chief drummer Joseph Langabel claims the German-born has told him about his return whether coach Goran Stevanovic remains is in charge.
The 24-year-old had a frosty relationship with the Serbian trainer and FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi was unsuccessful in bringing the two parties.
"Kelvin told me he will return; he will return to the Black Stars," Langabel said in an interview with Accra-based radio station Joy FM.
The Ghana Football Association confirmed the player's retirement in November last year.
