Lazio forward keen on leaving for rivals

Published on: 28 December 2015

Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao is pondering a move away from the Italian capital despite the affection showered on him by club owner Claudio Lotito and coach Stefano Pioli.

The 20-year-old has already begun his search for a new club though he is not short of admirers with offers coming in thick and fast from Europe’s top clubs, including Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco who were known to have made a bid of €15 million for the youngster.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Spanish native is serious about moving away from the Biancocelesti with Lotito placing a €20m price tag on him should his exit materialise; rivals Inter are considering Keita as Roberto Mancini aims to boost his attacking options in the January transfer window.

Keita has made a total of 59 appearances while netting seven goals for Lazio since joining in 2011 as a teenager.
