Legon Cities FC are the first Ghanaian club to tests their players for coronavirus

Legon Cities FC board member Mr. Fred Agbenyor has hinted the club are the first Ghana Premier League side to conduct coronavirus test for their players.

According to him, the club paid US$ 80.00 per test for all the registered players to make sure all they are all safe from the disease.

Legon Cities are awaiting for the return of football in the country since the league and all other football competitions were suspended in mid-March to the widespread of the coronavirus.

Mr. Agbenyor also confirmed that the results of the tests returned negative for all the players.

Mr. Agbenyor further urged the government to come to the aid of the rest of the clubs to able to have their players also tested for deadly disease.
