Leicester City are waiting on a response from Bordeaux today over their bid for Clement Chantome.
The Foxes have offered €2.5 million for Chantome.
The midfielder is off contract at season's end and Leicester have warned Bordeaux they won't go higher.
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has wanted to work with Chantome since his time in charge of Olympique Marseille.
