Levante to break bank to sign Malian forward as Boateng's competition

Spanish club Levante UD are ready to break the bank to sign Malian forward Abdoulay Diaby as competition to Emmanuel Boateng. 

Abdoulay Diaby is one of the priorities of the club as they seek to reinforce their attack for next season. The La Liga side is set to make the Malian their record signing, bringing some competition to Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Boateng who had a splendid debut campaign.

According to 'El Desmarque', Brugge are asking for four million for the transfer of Malian and more bonuses for more matches played. Brugge want to make some money out of the forward before his contract expires.

Meanwhile, Levante have the option of negotiating the asking price but paying the four million would make Diaby the most expensive signing in its history . The current record, as 'El Desmarque' recalls, is held by Mauricio Cuero , who arrived by 3'2 million from La Equidad.

There is the need for theLevante UD to reinforce the attack  is imperative.

Levante coach Paco López plans to play with two top next season and requires four strikers on his roaster.
