Leverkusen won\'t sell Hernandez

Published on: 17 February 2016

Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has been prolific in the Bundesliga this year for Bayer Leverkusen and Chief Executive of the club Michael Schade is not willing to let the player leave.

"First of all, he has a contract. His move to us has shown that he is not only after the money.

"Hernandez has never said that he wants to leave. He feels comfortable because he knows he is appreciated. We are a team that allows him to play, he has benefitted greatly from the style we play and from playing with his team-mates. He will help us, but we also help him.

"If we reach the Champions League we have a very good chance of keeping him at the club."
