Liverpool legend John Barnes has advised Ghana defender Daniel Amartey to work hard if he is to make an impact in the English Premier League.
Daniel Amartey, after his move to Leicester City in January from Danish side, Copenhagen FC, has failed to cement a regular place in the Foxes' side with the likes of Danny Simpson, Robert Huth and Wes Morgan always being the preferred choices.
In an interview with the Graphic Sports last Saturday, Barnes said: "He must work hard if he is to make an impact in the EPL.
"Amartey must also seek advice from Tony Yeboah and Michael Essien who both excelled in the EPL," he contended.
Talking about Leicester's sudden rise to the EPL's log, Barnes argued that it would be good for football if Leicester won the premiership title.
