Although football has been paralysed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, rumours regarding the next transfer window are ongoing with Liverpool showing an interest in Sevilla centre-back Diego Carlos.
Jurgen Klopp has expressed his desire to find Virgil van Dijk a solid partner at the heart of the Liverpool defence, despite already having Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren.
"It was clear to me that coming to Sevilla was a huge step in my career as it's a big club, and if one day I leave, it will only be for one of the top teams in the world," said Diego Carlos.
Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are also said to be keeping tabs on the 27-year-old from Brazil.
