MADNESS! Wenger to go with Arsenal kids at Sutton

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger won't select a full-strength XI for their FA Cup clash at Sutton United.

The Frenchman is still sore after the Champions League mauling by Bayern in Munich on Wednesday – a 5-1 deficit which almost certainly spells the end of their European campaign.

The Daily Express says he had planned to use a weakened team for this evening's match even before the events of last week.

Wenger is likely to use youngsters such as Rob Holding, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Jeff Reine Adelaide on non-League Sutton's 3G pitch at Gander Green Lane.

Wenger said: “The dangers are first of all the pitch, secondly their enthusiasm and thirdly that we are not ready for a big fight and subconsciously think that they are a non-league team and it is no matter. But that will not happen."
