Manchester City are confident they've won the race for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
The Mirror says City have already agreed a deal in principle to sign Dortmund's German international midfielder Gundogan for £25million.
Real Madrid's Isco is another player back on City's radar, although a move for Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte has been put on hold after the Frenchman suffered a broken ankle.
Incoming manager Pep Guardiola has been handed a blank cheque to rebuild City's ageing squad â and he will not be wasting any time.
