Pressure is mounting on Mas-ud Draman to quit as Kotoko coach following the sideââ¬â¢s unflattering performances in the top-flight.
A group of concerned Kotoko supporters have launched a massive campaign to have the coach dismissed.
Kotokoââ¬â¢s unbeaten run in the Ghana Premier League was broken by Berekum Chelsea while they struggled to beat Real Tamale United at home on Boxing Day.
Despite losing just a single game so far this season, a cross section of their supporters have been unhappy with the total performance of the players on the pitch.
ââ¬ÅWe think Draman has lost focus and so must leave now to save the club from collapsing," à a leading member of the supporters group Godbless told Accra-based Happy FM
ââ¬ÅOur performances are going from bad to worse. Even though we have lost just a single game, weââ¬â¢re not playing any good football.
ââ¬ÅLook at how we struggled against Real Tamale United. He must leave now and save us.
ââ¬ÅWe are going to ensure that the Board terminates his contract otherwise weââ¬â¢ll hold series of protest against the coach and the Board.
ââ¬ÅHe cannot lead us to conquer Africa. We donââ¬â¢t think he is the right man for this job.
ââ¬ÅWhen Maxwell Konadu took over the club, we all saw the performance of the team. Even if we failed to win, supporters were happy because we were playing some decent football.
ââ¬ÅBut thatââ¬â¢s not the case. We want him out.
While some fans want Draman out, others think his hands are tied considering the number of players who have been sold.
Last season MVP Daniel Nii Adjei, Ben Acheampong and Awal Mohammed have all left the club with right back Yaw Frimpong expected to join the exodus bandwagon next week.
