Match Day 2 Summary – Trinity Stars FC 1-3 Inter Allies FC
It waa a good day in the office for Inter Allies as the club recorded first win of the season in the Adonai Estate Volta Division Two League.
Samuel Boakye put us in the lead with a sumptuous finish with just 15 minutes of play gone after sessions of intensive pressure on the opponents.
The hosts staged a comeback, however, Allies got the better of the situation. Cornelius Agbenyegah slotted home our second of the day on the 23rd minute mark.
It was an exciting match and Inter Allies led comfortably with a 2-0 lead at halfway, after putting much work in the half, with the lion share of possession.
Right after recess, Cornelius Agbenyegah bagged his brace with a very fine finish, taking the score to 3-0, a commanding lead.
The hosts managed to find one back before the end of the game at the Battor RC Park in Battor.
