Match officials gear up for intensive training ahead of 2023/24 Malta Guinness Women's Premier League

Preparations are in full swing for the 2023/24 Malta Guinness Women's Premier League season, with the selection of 35 referees and 35 assistant referees to participate in a rigorous three-day training program.

The training will take place at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram and is scheduled to run from Wednesday, October 25, to Friday, October 27, 2023.

An array of experienced technical instructors will guide the referees through various aspects of the game. The lineup of instructors includes Christine Ziga, Emmanuella Aglago, Beatrice Thaud, Theresa Bremansu, Louisa Amanor, Gloria Adjei, and Abigail Sowah. The referees' fitness training sessions will be led by Augustine Fugah, Vivian Aggor, and Delight Alorbu.

Referees Manager Alex Kotey will be on hand to coordinate the intensive three-day training sessions, ensuring that the match officials are well-prepared for the challenges of the upcoming season.

The comprehensive training program aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of the referees and assistant referees, ultimately contributing to the success and integrity of the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League.
