Match Report: Sekondi Hasaacas 2-1 Berekum Chelsea - Eric Bekoe leads Hasmal revival in fight-from-behind win

Published on: 03 April 2016

Sekondi Hasaacas fought from a goal down to defeat Berekum Chelsea 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Saddick Adams had powered home the opener for Chelsea in the 68th minute at the Essipong Sports Stadium.

But striker Eric Bekoe equalised for Hasaacas before Saliw Babanawo claimed the winner for Hasmal.

Solomon Ojo's side took firm control of the game in the second-half after Hasaacas failed to utilize their chances in the first-half.

Adams whose experience from playing abroad for clubs including Atletico Madrid and FK Vojvodina did the trick when he scored in the 77th minute for the Blues.

Eric Bekoe and Prince Papa-Arko both had decent chances to restore parity for Hasmal but they failed to find the back of the net.

But late into the game Bekoe equalised before Babanawo claimed the winner for Hasmal.
