AshantiGold SC recorded a hard fought victory over Great Olympics on Sunday at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi to get back to winning ways after slumping in their previous three games.

A penalty goal in the second half of the game made the difference putting a dent on Olympics' title fight.

Assistant coach Thomas Duah made three changes to the squad that lost 3-1 to Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.

Samed Ibrahim, Amos Addai and Gordon Kusi Brokelyn came into the lineup in place of Richard Osei Agyemang, Seth Osei and Yaw Annor respectively.
