We lost by a lone goal to King Faisal at the Theatre of Dreams on Sunday afternoon in the matchday 21 fixture of the 2020/21 GPL season.
Zubairu Ibrahim scored from close range to hand us our first defeat in the second round.
Kingsley Fidelis Kuku returned to starting line up and Mohammed Zakari started from the bench after shaking off an injury that kept him off the field for some time.
Despite starting and pushing high in the early embers of the match, it was the visitors who scored.
Zubairu Ibrahim got the better of our defensive set up and slotted home from close range.
Our strikers kept pushing with series of attacks and fired from all cylinders but none found the back of the net.
