Mathew Amoah sidelined for a month

Ghana striker Mathew Amoah is set for a four-week spell on the sidelines due to a muscle injury sustained last week.

Amoah suffered the problem during last Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Excelsior and will need a month to recover.

''I'm afraid we've lost Matthew Amoah,'' NAC Breda coach John Karelse confirmed.

''He got a muscle tear which means he will be out of action for four weeks.''

The 30-year-old is NAC Breda’s top scorer with nine goals.
