Maxwell Azafokpe Puts in a Solid Shift for Black Satellites against Congo in African Games – Men’s Football Tournament opener

Published on: 09 March 2024

Our very own Maxwell Azafokpe featured for 60 minutes for the Black Satellites in their opening game of the 2023 African Games – Men’s Football tournament against Congo.

Maxwell, playing at left back, was a key player in Ghana’s strong defensive performance. He was composed on the ball and made some crucial tackles to keep the Congolese attack at bay.

Maxwell was substituted off in the 60th minute, but his contribution to the team’s defensive effort was undeniable.

His performance for the national team is a testament to his talent and hard work at Inter Allies.

Despite a goalless draw after 90 minutes, the Black Satellites displayed great determination and defensive solidity throughout the match.

We at Inter Allies are excited to see how Maxwell continues to perform for the Black Satellites throughout the tournament!
