Medeama coach Tom Marcus Strand will likely adopt a defensive approach ahead of his side's CAF Confederation Cup match against Al Ittihad, Medeamaafmonline.com has reported.

According to the official club website, the 33-year-old trainer will keep faith with his trusted charges ahead of the crucial tie.

The training method monitored indicate a defensive minded approach with versatile Malik Akowuah expected to be at the centre of his game plan.

Goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe will be kept in post with effervescent Samuel Adade expected to operate from the right back.

Hugely-talented Moses Sarpong will operate from left-back with experienced Paul Aidoo expected to marshall the defence with support from fast-rising youngster Daniel Amoah.
