Medeama defender Samuel Adade is demanding a cautious approach ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup tie against Al Ittihad on Sunday.

The Ghanaian side are in confident mood ahead of the crucial first leg tie in the round of 32 clash in Sfax, Tunisia.

Medeama will fancy their chances against the Libyan side especially with the fixture taking place away in neighbouring Tunisia.

But impressive right-back Samuel Adade is urging caution ahead of the tricky tie.

"We have to be cautious," he said. We cannot take anything for granted.

"Libyan sides have been a thorn in the flesh of Ghanaian clubs and we must be wary.

"The first 15 minutes will be crucial for us because I suspect they will bombard us with an opening goal.

"We have to maintain our calm and composure and then we take it from there.

"We want to win and make our people back home proud. But it's not going to be easy."
