Michael Anaba earn late Ghana Under-20 call-up

Asante Kotoko promising midfielder Michael Anaba has been drafted into the country’s Under-20 team ahead of the African Youth qualifier against Uganda, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Interim coach Maxwell Konadu has kept faith with the 18-year-old by handing him his first national team call-up.

He joined his colleagues in camp on Sunday.

The ex-Windy Professionals workaholic enforcer is touted as the man to bring stability at the heart of midfield ahead of the crunch qualifier against the East African side.

The intelligent midfielder put up swash-buckling performances for Kotoko in his debut season.

His tremendous ball control, creative vision and physical specimen were some of his positive traits that endeared him to the local fans and his addition will be a good one  to the set-up.
