Ghana super star Michael Essien has moved his recovery process a notch higher after doctors saw improvement in the knee injury that has kept him out of action.
Essien joined Panathinaikos earlier in the summer for big money but has been hit with series of injuries which have prevented him from making his debut for the club.
The Ghanaian has however shown signs of improvement as doctors in the club have given him an all clear to return to pitch for training after sitting out the entire previous week.
The news will come as a massive boost for the former Chelsea man who is yet to kick start his career in Greece.
