Misr El Makasa want to re-sign John Antwi from Pyramids FC ahead of next season

Misr El Makasa have expressed their interest in negotiating with the Pyramids FC to re-sign Ghanaian striker John Antwi ahead of next season.

Although El Makasa technical staff, led by Ehab Galal have welcomed the idea of Antwi's return to the club, the high salary the player receives at Pyramids makes it difficult to negotiate for his services.

Pyramids officials opened the door for Antwi's departure, especially as Croatian technical director Ante Čačić retained his performance in some periods.

However, Pyramids are expecting offers from Saudi Arabia and UAE for the prolific attacker as some clubs in these countries are interested in landing the 27-year-old.

Antwi joined Pyramids from El Makasa last season for around 3 million euros.

The former Al Ahly SC player netted 40 goals in 76 appearances whilst playing for El Makasa from January 2017 to July 2018.
