MLS side Columbus Crew is delighted for their influential right back Harrison Afful who has been called up by Ghana for their 2017 AFCON qualifiers.
Afful has been influential since moving to the United States with his committed performance week in and week out.
The right back and Ghana are slated to play two matches against Mozambique as part of Group H AFCON 2017 qualifier.
The Black Stars host Mozambique in Accra on March 24 before traveling to face Os Mambas in Maputo on March 27.
The Black Stars are currently top of Group H after previously registering victories against Mauritius and Rwanda in the first two games.
The defender has earned 58 caps for Ghana during his career with his last appearance for the team coming on November 17 as part of 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification.
