Mohammed set for Maritzburg medical

Asante Kotoko defender Awal Mohammed has arrived in Pietermaritzburg to undergo medical at South African Premier League side Maritzburg United. 

The centre-back is expected to  sign a three-year deal if he passes the examination.

Awal was voted the Ghana Premier League best defender for last season.

He will join compatriot Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi who completed his move from Wa All Stars last month.
