Medeama president Moses is confident his team will complete the job ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup return leg against Al Shandy on April 20.

The two-time Ghanaian FA Cup champions produced a solid defensive display to hold their verve against the ambitious Sudanese side in a pulsating 0-0 drawn game.

Medeama's scintillating display has amplified the wide held believe that the Ghanaians will go far in just their second appearance in Africa inter-club competition.

The Mauve and Yellows host the Sudanese side in the return fixture in Sekondi next week Wednesday and club president Moses Armah remain bullish on their chances, insisting his side will provide the same intensity.

"We are happy with the scoreline and we look forward to the return encounter," he told the local media on arrival in Ghana

"The boys did well and must be commended. We are not going to get complacent at all.

"We need to finish the job and the work start now.

"We are grateful to Ghanaians for the massive support that we have enjoyed so far. We know they will continue to hand us a hand of support as we soldier on.

"The battle ahead won't be easy but we're confident of progressing to the next stage of the competition."

Moses Armah, a hugely respected business tycoon in the West African country, has been at the centre of Medeama's enthralling African campaign so far.

Medeama return to domestic duties when they play as guest of Hasaacas at the Sekondi stadium on Thursday.
