With speculation regarding Gareth Bale's future at Tottenham Hotspur making the news of late, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has moved to play down the reports that the Welshman will not be at the club next season.
Following his move from Real Madrid to Tottenham, Bale has only played 45 minutes in the Premier League since November 8, as injury problems have kept him on the sidelines.
"Of course you know he arrived injured for the first month," Mourinho told the press, "and the Europa League group phase is a different intensity so in the Premier League didn't play a lot of minutes.
"Then an injury against Stoke where he was having a good first half. Not an easy process.
"Was not a second of discussion about that [a move away]. Gareth is a player on loan until the end of the season. Not one second of discussion. We are talking about Gareth himself, Real Madrid, Tottenham."
